Spooks Synopsis + Heinz Kruger News + More Eye Candy + Ghoulish Month has Arrived

Someone has done a great deal of research on herr Kruger..
http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix3/heinzkruger.htm

(See Spooks & Heinz news below)....Do eye candy & halloween have anything in common?  Of course..candy = Halloween trick or 'Treats'..might be a stretch;)..also a bit premature for the terrifying fun, but any excuse will do to be reminded of gone but not forgotten...
BBC America is showing some life with their Halloween month promotion.. You can vote for your fav horror movie at their website and they'll air the winners http://bbcamerica.com/content/412/schedule.jsp  ghoul Brittania..hehe..:)
Of those listed, I'd vote for 'Silence of the Lambs' because I've not watched it as yet..horror movies are not usually my cup of tea,,,err...blood??

Found more Halloweenware in the deepest darkest corners of the blog's cobwebbed gallery...
Treats as promised....

Spooks Ep 5/8  -  Monday 18 October  -  9.00-10.00pm BBC ONE

www.bbc.co.uk/spooks    In a move to bring peace to Palestine and Israel, the American President is en route to London to chair secret talks between peace negotiators from both countries, as the tense spy drama continues. Beth Bailey and Dimitri Levendis go undercover as Home Office liaison officers at the talks, while the rest of Section D are tasked with ensuring nothing will jeopardise the long-awaited occasion.

Preparations appear to be going smoothly until a journalist threatens to run the story. Ruth Evershed convinces her not to print it but the implications are clear: someone does not want the peace talks to go ahead. The team frantically search for the source of the leak and Tariq Masood goes to work on tracing calls made to the journalist.

Lucas North picks up the trail and makes several discoveries which indicate the culprit has only one agenda – assassination. With the murder of the US President a very real threat, Section D must find the suspect before they are faced with an international scandal of unimaginable proportions.

With time running out, Harry Pearce and his team are put under immense pressure to locate the sniper and ensure the President is not put at risk. As events unfold it becomes clear that the real threat to the President is much closer than anyone had realised.

On a personal note, it seems hubby's very first crush, Wonder Woman, will soon have her own tv show...

News on the Capt America location shoot in Wales posted on twitter...

>Captain America – Exclusive Caerwent location filming details 01 October 2010 By shield
In 'Avengers' Universe Movies, Captain America

We have heard from a verified source close to the production, who has provided a few details about the filming that will soon be going on at the army base in Caerwent.

As well as comfirming that – perhaps not surprisingly – preperations are already underway, our source tells us that security arrangements for cast and crew access to the site being are strict, and that filming will involve rooftops, searchlights, gunfire and ‘major pyro’.

To say more would threaten our source’s anonymity, but from what we’ve been told we are in for a real treat.

If you are in the area and are able to get us any more news or photos of the preperations going on there, then please get in touch!

Captain America: The First Avenger is directed by Joe Johnston, and stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Sebastian Stan as sidekick Bucky Barnes, Hugo Weaving as villain The Red Skull, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Tommy Lee Jones as General Chester Phillips, Stanley Tucci as Dr. Abraham Erskine, Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan, Toby Jones as Arnim Zola, and Richard Armitage as Heinz Kruger.<

Female version of the Capt America Halloween costume...hmmm, how similar is it to the Wonder Woman outfit??..teehee *blush* ;)

Thx for the tip Anon, but couldn't find that one.

I've posted above a tweet of the same news by Marvel Comics on Sept 27.

Checked his agent's page but couldn't see any mention of RA's Kruger role.

Shades of GoG in Kruger? I know he'll be a great baddie, but I do hope it all leads to different roles for him.

Musa, that's probably RA's future career strategy w/the Kruger role. The ability to list an appearance, especially a speaking role, in a major film should open doors that might've proven a challenge to this point.

Have you read the latest storyline at the link above? It seems Heinz throws a young boy in the water while CA is in hot pursuit. The diversion is enough for his arch enemy to escape in a small sub.

If those are the correct details, and the action occurs in the first few scenes of the movie, RA's ruthless Guy demeanor could make an unforgettable impression on the audience. Of course, most will be about 12yrs old...except for the couple up-front rows of mesmerized women with silly smiles on their faces:)

I'll be one of those women on the front row. I hope he gets enough screen time.
I'm sure he'll look lovely in the gray suit. So, if I'm reading the submarine story correctly, Krueger escapes at the beginning of the film. Does that mean he comes back later in the film, or that he may come back in a sequel? I hope he does escape.
I still wonder why Richard is still not officially listed as part of the cast for the movie. All the blogs and fan sites have picked it up, it's obvious we know because of the photos out there? So glad that in the meantime we can see him as the Lovely Lucas or the lovely John (?). I hope we get to see more of him in that black T-shirt - LORDY.

Totally off CA topic, but just saw posted on Twitter that the current British PM also watches "Spooks" - interesting comment: "The next day I hand over some bison sausages. Cameron sighs lightly and laments that since taking the top job, he has spent less time in the kitchen than he would like, though the night before, “I cooked steak. It was very boring, but it was very good, actually … and some French beans, and we watched Spooks, which was lovely. It’s quite odd watching Spooks now, as it’s kind of not like it really is." (From FT.com). I agree that Spooks is lovely.

LOL.."Lordy, lordy, he definitely does not look almost forty";)

PM David Cameron - his economic policies make far greater sense than the totally opposite Keynesian nonsense. The latter theory is espoused only by academics who've never had a day of practical experience running a business. Pres Obama, unfortunately believes in the latter, which is why the US has taken on devastating amounts of debt in the past 2 yrs. His cabinet is filled with said members of academia.

Cameron believes you cannot spend your way into prosperity - he's correct about that. Hopefully, Nov 2 will signal American voters realization that they need to follow a more conservative economic strategy as well. All Europe's major heads of state are more conservative than the current POTUS. If the political pundits are correct, we're about to return to a wiser course after 2yrs of devastating blows to the US's economy and freedoms.

Not sure what PM Cameron meant as far as 'Spooks not being real'? It's definitely reflective of reality in that there are determined terrorists ruthlessly planning attacks on innocents. A major one was foiled within the past few days.

Cameron enjoys cooking as well..where do women manage to find these men who know their way around a cuisinart;) The love of my life is an expert at reheating and proudly announces the fact whenever the topic of men chefs arises. Although, he has taken on those kitchen duties whenever I've been either ill or otherwise distracted. He's really quite a fine cook when he focuses on the task. Althought it's true he'd far rather take dozens of family or creative photos than wrestle with a wok;)

Apparently there are now trailers with special code names on for the stars at Manchester now. Also new sets have been built.

See link:

Will take a look Sue...Thx.

Set security must be impenetrable at Liverpool...perhaps a water approach would do it? ;)

Sue said...

RiCrAr,

I think there may well be increased security surrounding the sets. Apparently they are also filming in Stockport, just outside Manchester (Cheshire, although some inadvertantly say it's in Greater Manchester).

Can't wait to see the next episode of Spooks tomorrow. Lucas gets handy in the kitchen. It gives a whole new meaning to "laying the table".

Ricrar said...

haha...oooh, 'laying the table'... that is appropriate.teehee

The placename Stockport is familiar to me...a genealogy quest led me in that direction a few yrs back.

Would the Spooks writers keep us dangling beyond ep 3 to press the tablecloth?;) The synopsis always describes the other action, never the Lucas specialty. *pant, pant* :)

I'll be in mid row at the movie, I think it gives you a panoramic good view of everything :P. I've read in a forum, not sure if they've read it on spotlight or elsewhere that his screentime is 10min.

'Lucas specialty' LOL

OML :)
