[Ricrar: dark haired & horseriders probably not a challenge, but swarthy skinned?...would be surprised if that one is easy in NI....most likely the Dothraki warriors -- see below a photo of Drogo, their leader]

Hi,
Lordy - GRRM has three new casting clues on his blog: http://grrm.livejournal.com/163086.html
Well, they have to make progress on Season 1 soon.
Hi Musa, did you see grrm added another post today with more casting news.
Melisandre sounds like quite an interesting influence on Stannis. His thin, pointy nosed(a coincidence or omen?;) wife Selyse must feel threatened - if she's aware of the priestess. Getting really motivated to plow ahead and find out for myself:)
SPOILERS.............................................................
Let's just say there's something going on between Melisandre and Stannis, she travels with him and seems to share his quarters while the wife stays at home...if Richard gets cast as Stannis----I'm sure he can play the subtext of this "triangle" very, very, well. Selyse is actually a follower of Melisandre's religion and therefore influenced by her.
Did you see GRRM's latest blog post? He mentions those who are waiting for Stannis to be cast will have to wait for Season 2 - he's torturing all RA fans and seems to be enjoying it - LOL
Oooh, I must revisit grrm's
journal to see that post with my own eyes. Great to know he's aware of our quest. How could he not find a role for RA?...getting hopes up again:)
All this speculation simply makes more potential book buyers aware of & interested in his series. He's probably loving that aspect of our efforts.
