I'm afraid if they do a second series of Moving On as each episode was stand-alone story it's unlikely that RA would return in it. Mind you I think the character that Richard managed to create could well develop into a series all on its own. John Mulligan was quite a complex and charming character and it would be interesting to see how the story progressed after he came out of prison. Revenge on the woman that put him there perhaps? Certainly a return to his bad ways that's for sure. He was certainly a bit of a ducker and diver that one.
didn't he end up in jail .... I'd rather see him in something else...like a return to Dibley!!!! Harry Kennedy .... ahhhh Happy thoughts....
Best part about John Mulligan was his slightly heavier than usual stubble.
The woman who wrote the Moving On piece said she had Richard in mind to play Mulligan as she wrote those episodes - so perhaps she'll do the same for series 2.
RA often mentions he'd enjoy a VoD sequel showing Harry & Gerry and a brood of children happily ever after...*sigh* ...love happy endings...they never grow stale:)
You'll probably see my user as RiCAr this time. Still trying everything possible to retrieve my poll vote, since blogger tech help has not yet responded to my plea for help. Guess poll results are way down their priority list when you consider the parent company, Google, was accused yesterday of spying on a few members of the US congress. The latter tend not to like that:)
