Actually, in the "looks" area, rather wished Lucy G had not had her eyebrows plucked. She was lovely, anyway, but the natural, thicker eyebrows possibly lent more definition to her face?
fitzg, thicker eyebrows are considered a younger look - nicely shaped but not overplucked. Where is Lucy today? - hoping her & Daniella's acting talents are being used somewhere?
Lucy has been in an three-part drama called Collision which must have come out last year. She played a working-class girl with dyed blonde hair working in a hamburger joint and did very well. She was a lot slimmer and seemed to have lost the curves which I thought suited her, but she was very attractive.
I saw Daniela last week in what she's been doing for the last few years, a sitcom called My Family. She's playing the blonde bubble-headed daughter of the family, a role that seems sadly beneath her after she showed her acting muscles in North and South. I can't for the life of me figure out why the BBC or other channels don't utilise her talents better!
Thx for the update, Enrich. I'll search around for both shows to hopefully see RA's former leading ladies latest projects.
Richard commented in at least one of his recent SB interviews on the drastic entertainment budget cut-backs and limited roles available today for actors. He seemed to be explaining his reasons for accepting the Porter role. Perhaps, Daniela finds herself in the same difficult environment. Unfortunately, her many male admirers are not nearly as organized or motivated a fan base as Richard's. Hope he continues to appreciate that reality for entertainers. Do you recall some time back RA's comment to the effect "when you're popular, people want to employ you."
