IF you were also a cello player, and you wanted to tell RA that fact, which of the following pics would you be more likely to send to him with your letter?
1. Roses
2. Naptime
3. Duet
4. Rendezvous
5. Cello Solo

Do you think that moggie (cat)in the last piccy is trying to tell us something? May it's "kiss my a** baby!" Don't think for a minute I intend kissing him after what he's just been washing! (Not even for Richard!)
Sue, moggie is washing his/her thigh, isn't s/he?...tried to make certain it wasn't where the sun doesn't shine;) Isn't the left leg & paw discreetly covering the nether regions? This is a PG13 blog...well, most of the time. Ha!
The situation reminds me of a personal incident, when our cat(less than a yr old:^O had 6 kittens(she was neutered at the vet's as soon as we found a suitable home for each one of them). During the screening process for proper owners for 'Mugsie's' kittens, one of the applicants asked if the fluffy kitty (persian) she was holding was male or female...my reply: "I've no idea". She then turned the furry ball upside down & proceeded to give me the necessary anatomical information for making that determination:) It was a hilarious learning experience - repeated often in the intervening yrs.
p.s. the story of the learning experience was repeated - not identifying the gender of kittens. Mugsie lived 13yrs and we felt as tho' a family member had died when she was gone. We've enjoyed the pet-free freedom since then.
I'm afraid my eyesight isn't as sharp as it used to be but I think that you'll find it's a tommy cat.My mind has suddenly drifted off and started imagining what Richard might look like in a similar pose. Sat on the sofa, one leg up in the air and letting it all hang out! Oh dear I think a cold shower beckons!
LOL...it's a good thing you're so sweet, Sue, because you're definitely naughty, naughty;) No doubt practicing to impress Richard, if ever given the chance.
BTW, being told you're sweet is a compliment in the US...not certain that's true everywhere...I've seen quite a few comments over the past few mos indicating some people take it as an insult. Not so here, where 'sweet' is considered a positive, likeable, lovable, warm personality trait.
I keep wondering what pet RA would keep (assuming his lifestyle admitted a pet of the animal variety). Conclude it would be a cat. Because he has that pantherish physique of a Connery.
So, we wouldn't be compatible. (Except that I've inherited a disreputuble alley cat).
fitzg, it's easy for me to imagine Richard with a pet dog - his parents could keep it while he's on location. Remember the Russian wolfhound those replying to the poll chose for him some mos back? I'll repost the photo. It's one of the few canines large enough to not looked swamped in proportion to RA's height.
Check the latest post w/a vid of US soldiers surprising family members on their return home - even the family dog couldn't contain it's excitement in one family.

RiCrAr, I missed that poll! Then there's the Newfoundland or the Bernese Mountain Dog.
Thanks for the re-focus on dogs; btw, disreputable alley cat and I get along well. He has a Gisbornian anti-hero nature, that's rather taking....
But a Russian or Irish wolfhound would be lovely.
