Charlie Movie has a New Mascot - Charlie Bear

The Charlie website is asking for volunteers to host their new mascot, Charlie Bear, on his travels visiting RA fans all over the world.  Here's handsome and huggable (same as Richard:) Mr. Bear.

MESSAGE from KK(travel director) at Charlie Forum:

"Charlies B's current travel plan is now full...so please could you make it clear on your blog that no more people can be added to the current list at this time. However, they can follow his adventures on The Charlie Forum if they would like."
Thanks KK

Awww, how cuddly. I'm thinking of getting some RA badges from ebay and pinning them on some of my soft toys.

Is that sad or is it sad?

No, it's normal for RA admirers. If not for my dearly beloved OH, I'd have RA monogrammed on my towels & sheets:)

BTW, after watching the first 2 eps of Spooks7, said to hubby "you seem to be impressed with Ros which surprises me because she appears to throw off frosty vapor". His reply: "I'll warm her up." hahaha He's a dear but devilish:)

In the past year I've heard of RA fans who emboss his initials on their handbags and almost everywhere else possible. Wonder if any wear panties printed with 'Saturday' - then use an indelible pen to line through all but 'ra'. An enterprising fan with an embroidery machine could probably create a thriving business.

My OH likes Ros as well. It suits me as I have a companion when watching Spooks. I don't think I would go so far as to have RA's initials on anything - blogging is enough, imo!

MTA: I'm not sure about the Charliefilm I'd like an absolute positive "yes" that RA is going to be able to do the film before I get too involved. Nice idea about the bear - I hope it all works out!

Ragtag,
I've signed in too. i'd like to have Charlie come and meet Julius my teddy I got from my brother and family X-mas of 2008, when I was too sick to travel to be with my family.

After receiving the message posted above from KK(Charlie website), I'm not quite sure when Mr. Bear's travel itinerary plans were filled. Has anyone who volunteered to host charlie B had confirmation from KK?

Ricrar,
I've talked to her on the chat forum that they have on the site. And she confirned that I will have Charlie in my home quite soon. Did this with BSB Mature FanClub some 10-15 yrs ago, that was fun.

Thanks katarina. Apparently Charlie B's travels were intended more to entertain forum members than to keep interest alive in the movie's website. It'll probably serve to accomplish both as readers watch him move around the globe.

Enjoy your furry friend's visit...
It should be great fun! :)

Hi mulubinba, I couldn't resist teasing DH about his impressed response to Ros' no nonsense style, and even sent him a photo to tease a merciless teaser. I'm usually on the other end of his practical jokes.

This past April Fool's Day he stuffed a small piece of cardboard under the lever of our coffeemaker. It's programmed the night before to automatically brew. When I stumbled down the steps and made a bee line to it, my chin almost hit the floor to find something was wrong...was ready to press down on the handle as hard as possible when he realized it was time to 'fess up. April fool's is definitely his fav day of the yr:)
