RA - GMTV Poll: Neat & tidy or somewhat dissheveled? In recent interviews Richard mentioned he's enjoying marinating in John Porter's more 'roughed' up image. Do you prefer rough or refined....sorry, must choose even though both versions look luscious enough to eat;) We also appreciate his choice of THAT particular shirt...snug fit suits some people;)
1. Every hair in place? (2009)
2. Rough & Ready? (2010)

RA really is the Whole Package! So hot and that voice.... absolutely to die for!
Hi Regina, did you see Richard's last interview at GMTV? Doesn't he look much more relaxed this time? Crinkles didn't form nearly as often, and the gorgeous smile flashed so bright we need shades, don't we:)
I remember last time Lorraine Kelly interviewed him and I felt like murdering her (not literally of course) because she just wouldn't shut up and let him get a word in edge ways! I think because he talks carefully and measured that she was trying to chivvy him along but it was very annoying. Perhaps it was because she instinctively felt he was shy and not used to interviews or maybe she is just a chatterbox (or maybe both!).
Thanks for uploading this interview. I've only just got in and I missed it this morning.
I notice that he is busting out of his shirt, those buttons looked fit to burst at any moment!
Richard's right about wanting to make Strike Back as believable as possible for anyone who is watching that has actually been in the army. I remember my dad when he was watching old war movies (usually American) where they would swagger and act so macho and heroic and my dad would say "you wouldn't behave like that" (I've omitted the swearing and the uncomplimentary words). His favourite phase was "you just picked up your kit and your gun and run like bloody hell!" (Sounds sensible to me).
Lucky Lorraine (I love her burr :)... where was she trying to go with her hand?!? LOL
relaxed interview but not nearly as funny as the Radio1 one.

Richard was in Lucas mode in both interviews (jeans and similar shirt), but perhaps Porter was definitely present in today's incarnation. For me there's an acute pleasure in following the hype towards the next production and seeing and hearing him after what seems like a long absence from our screens! Tomorrow the lucky ones in the UK with Sky can enjoy watching (and drooling over) Porter! *Sigh*
Sue, methinks Lorraine can't manage a really good interview with RA because she seems so affected by him.
Is Lorraine the same woman who had a male co-worker beside her during the last RA interview? She asked the usual 'boy's toys' and his circus days questions. One query of her's that I found interesting at that time was "do you tend to take home the dark moods of acting?"...Richard replied to the effect - "No, just shake it off", which I found very refreshing because many other actors would try to make what they do sound like quantum physics;)
RiCrAr, Lorraine was alone with Richard during last year's interview. She called him "a beautiful boy"(I would have been sorely tempted to do the same, but aren't journalists supposed to act as though they meet gorgeous hunks every day of the week?),gabbled and would hardly let him talk. The circus was asked about, yes. She was totally unoriginal! I thought she was better this time around.
Just when you think you can recover - this information comes out!!!!
