Fanny would be so pleased...had to nudge out a poll to squeeze in the piano..but it's worth it to impress Fanny Thornton:) Maybe we'll get an invitation to the next dinner party.

The choice of piano music reminded me of the amusing scene in N&S when Fanny is amazed the Hale household doesn't have a piano. She wonders outloud how they could possibly survive. Remember the charming quick glance Mgt gave her mother after Fanny's immature statement?
That scene is one that never fails to make me smile. Hannah gave Fanny a scolding look - maternal reminder for her dau to watch her remarks while visiting a financially less fortunate family.
