Yes, Ricrar, you are managing to convert me to an inordinate anticipation of Strike Back despite it's being an action-fuelled, adrenalin-mad, biceps-building etc.etc.type of series. I have rewatched the trailer and am now experiencing ultimate tingling and prolonged drooling! Are you happy, now?

From remarks he's made about them, believe Richard inherited his manly physique from a few of his industrious ancestors, and his discriminating intellect from his mother's circumspect nature. His background reminds me of novelist D.H. Lawrence's biography - teacher mother, coal-miner father. To add to the similarities--their birthplaces are located in the same area as well.
