Leftover premiere pics & DH Reaction to Spooks8, eps 7&8

Various and sundry reasons kept hubby & I from viewing the final eps of Spooks8 until this evening.  His vocal observations came mostly during the last episode.  First, he remarked that in his opinion the authentic MI5 organization would've already replaced the agents they had lost, which provided the opportunity for me to inform him writers' did their due diligence on that score for Spooks9. 

While Ros was attempting to drag the Home Sec'y out of the building he was highly amused by their dialogue.  Then he made the remark "the Home Sec'y is a nice guy" which prompted me to ask "which one do you mean?"  He said "well, both come to think of it."  My reply was "that's true - it's our CIA agents who are always the weasels:)  LOL

He had a hardy chuckle and said "it's the Brits subtle way of getting revenge for 1776."  After a good laugh, I said to him "not that they'd hold a grudge."  ;)  He muttered w/understanding in his voice - "it's a British show."

Last few moments - the hotel explodes and hubby blurts out "oh no, are they keeping us hanging until next season?"  Told him the majority seem to believe Ros is indeed history, BUT I live in hope she somehow survives & will reappear in Spooks9.
