One of the most fortunate fans ever - should play every lottery in sight. Her *stars* must be in perfect alignment. She and a friend stood across street from The Hobbit's Wellington studios and Thorin(wearing leather) walked out the door. *Serendipity*
It's the late 19th century, and the mysterious Dracula has arrived in London, posing as an American entrepreneur who wants to bring modern science to Victorian society. He's especially interested in the new technology of electricity, which promises to brighten the night - useful for someone who avoids the sun. But he has another reason for his travels: he hopes to take revenge on those who cursed him with immortality centuries earlier. Everything seems to be going according to plan... until he becomes infatuated with a woman who appears to be a reincarnation of his dead wife.
From the producers of the critically acclaimed, Emmy Award-winning hit "Downton Abbey" comes "Dracula," a twisted, sophisticated and sexy take on Bram Stoker's classic novel, proving that some stories never die. One-hour drama.
BBC's THE WHITE QUEEN(War of the Roses) starts Aug 10 in US on Starz...

Chair of Death, NZ - filmed for the Travel Channel's show 'RIDEiculous':
There has been almost zero RA news recently which often leads to mischief. When the hunk's away the fangurls play...
DaVinci's Demons finale on Friday - Season 2 is already filming:
Another trailer for CW's REIGN. As is evident in this one, Mary and her ladies dress designs have been criticized as not accurate for the period - too modern. Does that really matter, if the more up-to-date wardrobe take on Mary Stewart's saga lures larger numbers of a younger generation to enjoy historic drama?
(BTW, the CW is owned jointly by CBS Corp and Time Warner Inc=CW)

Hi, Ricrar! Who are fans C and A? Inquiring fangurls want to know! :) :)
Cheers!!
Cleo, They're two long-time RA fans. We happened to notice him right about the same time and have been following Richard's journey for over 4 years. Sometimes the drought periods have been terribly long--especially waiting for new Hobbit films. In the earliest days Richard was a fixture on British tv, so we enjoyed weekly episodes of Robin Hood, Spooks, Vicar of Dibley and Strike Back.
When that particular group of new RA photos was published a few weeks ago, couldn't resist having some fun with the one of him sitting on a bench. The original caption had to be edited somewhat for public consumption. haha ;D
Hopefully we'll soon have Peter Jackson's first Desolation of Smaug Vlog. He promised it would be high on his to do list during this filming season.
Good afternoon, Ricrar! Drought periods, indeed! I feel like we're in a drought period right now, what with waiting for Black Sky and the next two Hobbit films. Goodness. What is a fangurl to do???
When I was under the weather earlier in May, I had the opportunity to peruse The Hobbit again (and again), and MI5 again (and again). Talk about opportunities for hero worship!!! :) :) It did raise my spirits, I must admit. :)
I feel, somehow, obligated to inform you and the world that we are MISERABLY hot here in Florida, having had an absolutely gorgeous and long winter. Ugh. I hope NZ is treating RA well. Cheers, Ricrar!!!
P.S. Re: Fun with RA sitting on a bench... Is that we fangurls daydreaming of RA, or RA daydreaming of his fangurls fighting over him? :) :)
Sorry to hear about the devastating heat in FL, Cleo.
We had terribly high humidity last week which happily dissipated to much cooler temps. Much more comfortable for our hikes - try to get in about 3 a week.
Oh, it's not as bad as all that, Ricrar! I'm just whining. :) :)
Now, as for the barefoot photos. Didn't you once promise me a tickle on my very own feet from RA himself for giving the right answer on one of his barefeet photos? I'm just wondering when that's coming....? Inquiring fangurls, and so forth.... Not meaning to over-extend your authority into RA's real life, or anything...
Did I mention that I like the barefeet photos? :) :)
Cheers!
