Dec 2004 First Fluff Phenomenon + Retrospective Thursday + New Vid Created by Musa

Passed this good advice along to my niece who family members realize will actually be the bride of the year ;)  well, certainly among her family and friends anyway...

Interesting article from Dec 2004 describing the first JT groupies reaction to North and South - reporter was masquerading as just another forum member ;) what a sly fox..or was she really feigning interest?...most likely could be counted as another of JT's world conquest - one woman at a time...

Ricrar! You are too good to me:) Thanks for posting my vid :)

(I tried posting a comment before and for some reason wouldn't let me, trying again,so sorry if this posts twice!).

Lordy - that photo of RA as Lucas North with the coat...swoon...all dark blue and black, the intensity of that look...(is that Harry in the background?)...he is mesmerizing, I can't stop looking at the pic. Thanks for posting!

Not only did it post that time, Musa, the blogger gremlins included your lovely fabolaktuko avi for first time. Ceased long ago trying to make sense of the software:)

Believe the darkly intense Lucas pic was promotion for Spooks7. It's one of those RA photos rarely seen, for some unknown reason. Has a devastating effect on me as well.*wibble*

oh, thank GOODNESS I can post again! Apparently, Blogger imploded yesterday, and people all over the web were having problems posting comments. Some blogs even got deleted! Good to see they left you alone, RiCrAr!

Really Laura! I didn't detect anything unusual yesterday. Happy you're back. Did you watch any of the royal wedding this morning? Musa & I were on twitter before 5am - had plenty of company. It was lovely.

Great vid Musa! :)
Just got back from our street party (a little worse for wear :S wasn't it great!!?) to be greeted with that gorgeous pic in black! Yummy yum yum yum, thank you...have never seen that one Ricrar.. you do find some lovely pics.

MsG68, street party...sounds like fun. Were there many neighborhood celebration parties?

Our tradition is to have, during summer months, community get-togethers called 'block parties' with music, beer & soft drink stand. Volunteers prepare popular items such as ham & bean soup, burgers & hot dogs and ethnic dishes - extremely popular one from Eastern Europe called bleenies(grated potatoes mixed with egg, diced onions, seasonings are dropped by ladleful into sizzling vegetable oil until sauteed crusty brown).

One of the all time favs at these block parties is home-made taffy(some people call it the strange sounding word moshee?)...suspect that confection might've been a contribution from C19 English or
Welsh immigrants. I know my mother was given many ginger snap cookie recipes by surrounding neighbors..handed down through generations.

Oh, I watched the Wedding! I LOVED it. Gorgeous dress, HAPPY couple (for a change!), sweet moments... breathtaking horses (dang, I wish I could train that well), and that CAKE!! Wish I could decorate that well, too!

But it was a lovely affair, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Haven't been to a Royal Wedding street party before, so it was interesting and fun!! Basically everyone contributed grub of some description and drink and all got jolly! And met neighbours I've never seen before!

Btw... I'm wine! And I like it too :)

Glad you liked the video MsG68! Thank you :)

The street party sounds like so much fun. I haven't been to a block party in ages.

Didn't you all love the hats at the wedding! Ricrar and I and everyone had a great time on Twitter. I loved watching every minute of it.

The 'falling-off-the-front-of-head-hats' by Philip Treacy had a good outing from most of the congregation...thought Princess Bea's was hilarious!! :D

Favourite moment has to be the YouTubed cart-wheeling vicar/verger :)

Oops...repeating myself by accidental double click :S

MsG, no one notices:) because it's super easy to double post here at blogger...we've all done it more than once. Suspect software gremlins get devilish.

Which cake looked yummiest to you at the newlyweds reception? Chocolate one looked almost as luscious as LN to me. *and as easy on the eyes* Although, admittedly he would be calorie free...might even lose weight. *giggles*

Yep definitely that choc one got my vote!
