RAvishing recent comments...

"Thank you for posting my Lucas/Beth vid :) I really liked the first episode of Spooks 10 and look forward to more, but I missed Lucas so much. Loved going down memory lane with the blog comments :) I need Harry to do MY taxes. I wouldn't mind tax time so much, I would look forward to it. Maybe a romantic dinner while we go through all the paperwork. By Musa"

"I liked the joke Geraldine made about accountants and pencils myself. That would certainly put me off chewing the end of any pencils! Trouble is it also had me imagining Richard as Harry "working it out with a pencil" and I'm not talking arithmetic here! PS: It would be well worth me getting into arrears with my accountant if Harry came to collect them! (My God I might even consider paying his fees in advance!) By Sue"

"Is RA hiding out in NZ? I'm tired of seeing Orlando and Martin Freeman and James Nesbitt out on the town! (Not that I don't like those guys, but really, some equal time!) We need to see Richard out and about! He can't be working 24 hours a day! OK - maybe I'm suffering from RA withdrawal :) by Musa"

"Musa, Knowing Richard that's probably exactly what he's doing, working 24 hours a day! I bet he's going to bed early with a cup of Horlicks and his script for the next day. I think Richard likes to be word perfect and I've yet to see any aunties bloomers showing Richard forget his lines or mess up (unlike his co-stars). Remember Orlando, Martin and James Nesbitt (especially the latter) are more outgoing than Richard. Talking of RA withdrawal (that sounds a little risqué doesn't it, wasn't that used as a form of contraception at one time?) Anyway my pangs have been somewhat assuaged by watching a repeat of the series George Gently on the box last night. Richard as Ricky Deeming in his figure hugging black motorbike leathers was just the antidote I needed. My God he can plunge me into the sea any day! By Sue"

Musa,

Knowing Richard that's probably exacting what he's doing, working 24 hours a day! I bet he's going to bed early with a cup of Horlicks and his script for the next day. Musa, I've an opinion why we don't see RA at NZ social functions, etc. Perhaps he needs to keep his Thorin beard very unruly at this point and he'd prefer not to be seen in public with it. haha If that last PJ video blog is any indication - the hairy thing looks out of control:) Don't know how much of it is truly his.

A cup of Horlick's, Sue? Is that anything like hot chocolate or what we call Ovaltine(hot malted beverage)? An old-wives tale says warm milk consumed before bedtime is supposed to help supply a restful sleep.

It's true that he attempts to be word perfect and we need to keep in mind that his role is larger than most of the other cast members. Isn't it safe to say Bilbo is the only one with more lines than Thorin?

As for RA *withdrawal*(haha to your naughty inference) syndrome, it seems to be stirring the few rabidly nasty twitter RA fans - causing them to start snapping at the vast majority of fans who are far more friendly & likeable. During long RA drought periods, such as we're experiencing now, the few obnoxious fans always seem to believe even squabbling with each other is more interesting than simply remaining diplomatic with their fellow fans.

Unto a more pleasant topic - recent comments from the two of you deserve their own appropriate RA pix...off to get that done..hard job but someone has to do it:) hmmmm feel compelled to first get one of Ricky Deeming's "figure-hugging leathers" *thud..dribble*

teeheehee..just had the best laugh.

Don't know how I missed it until today, but this is the first time I've seen Angie's Born to be Wild vid of Ricky Deeming. When I read her comment "lucky cigarette paper" LOL..*hilarious and TRUE*

RiCrAr,

Yes, Horlicks is a malted bedtime drink. I don't like it very much for some reason, it must be the malted taste. I prefer hot chocolate. Actually hot milk with a teaspoon of honey is supposed to be very good for you.

I don't read the rabid comments of some RA fans(?) any more, they do themselves (and Richard) a disservice with their acrid drivel.

It's true Richard does have a very large part (but then we suspected as much when we saw him wearing those speedos didn't we girls!)Sorry couldn't resist! Give those obnoxious beings on Twitter something to talk about anyhow.

RiCrAr,

Thought I'd let you know that the National TV Awards over here in England will be taking place at the 02 in London in January. Hopefully there may be an outside chance that Richard will be nominated for his role as JP in SB (although he has a very small part in SB2 it has to be said!)

The voting takes place from the 27th of September. The website also wants views on the awards. Here's the link to the website:

Who knows Richard may get to present an award if he's on home leave next year? Now that would be nice!

Yes, Sue, at some point in past couple yrs I'd voted for Richard in that survey so an email arrived a couple yrs ago linking to the latest. Wondered if RA might be included this time in some way but if the brief glimpse of him in SB2 is it, it hardly seems worth the time, does it:)

See a fascinating article in the latest post about series2, Downton Abbey. Found myself annoyed by the real Lady Carnarvon's biographer. He definitely made wild speculation that founded a hospital to nurse wounded officers in WWI due to her being "an arch manipulator who enjoyed controlling men." haha Isn't that an outrageous statement from him? She converted her 200rm mansion into a hospital and he concludes her motive was to control men. *unbelievable* Her estate should sue for defamation of character. *some women just can't win with certain men.*

*giggles* not a couple yrs ago..should read 'days'...haste makes typos.

Insert he made wild speculation that 'she' founded hospital...love when comments are written in blood.*chuckles*
