Countdown: Day 14 Thornton's Annual Christmas Party...where??

Friday's pic poll asks you to help Margaret & John Thornton choose their new home.  The decision must be made asap as they're planning the annual Christmas party.    Which of the following houses on Plato St do you feel would be ideal? A living room pic is included for two of them.

Victorian is my fav style house, ragtag. However we live in a modern home because hubby's not interested in doing any more handyman chores than are absolutely necessary. His talents lie elsewhere:) I've tried to give a vintage look where possible, but it can't compare to the awesome challenge of restoring old wooden floors, fireplaces, updating electrical/plumbing and caring for the huge gardens surrounding most Victorian homes. Happy he managed to persuade me, when we were house hunting, that it wasn't for us....dodged a bullet that might've caused a divorce. Memories of Tom Hanks movie 'The Money Pit' just flooded back...hilarious film that could convince any couple to stay away from antique houses:)

I used to love that old house look! I'd watch the ghost whisperer just for the house porn.

But the scary ghost feeling eventually put me off and now i prefer modern stuff. Even if it's flimsy and all about open spaces and display kitchens.

So you're another 'ghost whisperer' fan. Armitage Admirer watches it for another reason - she believes Jim(also my hubby's name) on that show resembles RA and reminds her of him in other ways as well. In fact, a couple mos back I found a great photo of Jim (from Whisperer) shirtless which she really appreciated -- going to post it with one of RA and everyone can give their opinion whether there's a resemblance between these two pieces of eye-candy. Some refer to Lucas as spy-candy:) nibble, nibble
