Lastest RA chatter says Spooks 9 could start as early as Sept:) YooHoo! Here's hoping it's more than a rumor.
Isn't the following pic adorable. He'd not yet nailed down the 'total seduction of the camera' gaze found in the photo above. Or perhaps the above look reflects the Lucas North complicated brooding-spook syndrome, while the one below reflects simply a happy, contented man....either way they're scrumptious.

Where will Porter take us in SB2? Suppose Richard will spend at least 9mos filming those 10eps.

Since I haven't seen Spooks8 yet, I don't know if I want to know what happens to Lucas in Spooks9 given all the hints RA himself has given us in recent interviews. Then again, would he be giving all these clues and giving inside info away? I sometimes think he's deliberately leading us in a different direction with Lucas so we'll be surprised about what happens in the new series.
I've often wondered if the moment Lucas muttered "take me with you" to Sarah was a hint of the "not what you believed him to be" promised revelations in Spooks9.
Do the writers really want Lucas North to come to a disgraceful end after enduring 8yrs imprisonment for his country? That would be such a bummer way for him to go. Of course, he could find redemption by the last ep - echoing Guy's farewell.
boohoo...whatever happended to happy endings? LOL---incurable romantics can't take it;) Sincerely hope we're happily surprised by the new plot.
Perhaps there should be a Lucas wardrobe runoff. There are quite a few pieces to choose from...pinstripes, peacoat and other jackets, custom-tailored jeans, the topless look:)
I'd better eliminate that last one or it might become a distraction...teeheehee...might HA! -- make that definitely;)
