Sterling Grey BMW & John Porter's Wardrobe

Now we know why that sly fox chose the Bondesque grey blazer & knit shirt for Porter.  He just might need to borrow them on occasion.

Oh, who's looking really cool beside a sleek BMW! He won't stay "relationship challenged" for long, I should think!

Enrich, do you believe the 'don't have time for a relationship' story? Is Richard one of those men who have a problem making a commitment...especially when he's already thoroughly committed to acting?

Check 2 new polls. Even the statue of liberty is excited about his upcoming visit;)

Richard is definitely a perfectionist workaholic, and in the industry he's chosen is always worried that each job might be his last, so double pressure to work even harder. His day on the set starts early and finishes late so he says he's only got about 1 1/2 hours after work each day for R&R, poor pet!

Plus he films for lengthy amounts of time abroad each year, not conducive to imtimacy. I believe he'd love to have that special someone to nourish and nurture, but all these factors make it hard. That's also why he says no actresses need apply, such a hassle with two hectic schedules.

Now that he's reached sex symbol status, he must wonder if women see the real him or are dazzled by the image!

All these hinderances to a fulfilling personal life! If anyone deserves cherishing, it's our man!

I wonder if a 'more sensitve' male celebrity feels as though he is being vicariously nurtured through all the female attention. Of course, that's a poor substitute for the real thing. IMO, richard's happy demeanor signals personal satisfaction - probably the only aspect missing is the official 'we are a couple' status and ensuing children. The majority of men place an emphasis on career when given the choice between it & their personal lives. There are always alternative means to gratification, and the various 'try-outs';) ultimately lead to a wiser choice for Mrs A.

Re the above, I think Richard is having a ball travelling around and doing exactly what he loves - acting! The grass is always greener of course but on a practical level it would be difficult to devote any time to a meangingful relationship with his hectic lifestyle at the moment. It's probably a case of the "grass is always greener" but when it comes right down to it I believe he's happier without any ball and chains dragging him down. Plenty of time for that when the work dries up, which it will inevitably do at times.

Just come home absolutely knackered and found my postie has delivered my Strike Back DVD. I've just watched the first two episodes, and wow, it's great! His identification of a "V" is a bit iffy though, either he's not seen one in a while, he's dated some pretty odd women or his eyesight is absolutely terrible!(Or maybe all three?)Actually I think John Porter enjoyed winding the doctor up and taking the "p" and ended up getting a sh*g out of it. As for secreting the penknife in a delicate area of his anatomy, ouch!!!! No wonder John Porter sat down in the car a bit gingerly, maybe he should have wrapped it in some bubble wrap!Loved the last scene of episode 2. John Porter/Richard looks at Collinson and the words "to be continued" spring to mind.

If Sky don't commission a second series of Strike Back then they are stark raving bonkers! It knocks the likes of "Sex in the City" into a cocked hat!(Not that it would take much to do that, what a load of claptrap!)

PS: I see Richard managed to snaffle the sunglasses from John Porter's wardrobe too!
