Richard Armitage:Lovely 2016 Calendar from RAC(see link) + Irish Examiner--Brain on Fire Mention + The Saga of the Dictator Who Was Inspired to Play Heinz Kruger

Handsome 2016 Calendar from:
New War and Peace adaptation begins Jan 18 in USA..
Mr Wiki on Richard Crispin Armitage. Ignore Guy of Geesborne and Vicar of Deeply ;D
Brain on Fire, which was directed by Irish filmmaker Gerard Barrett, is based on the award-winning and bestselling memoir of Susannah Cahalan who wrote a powerful account of her struggle to recapture her identity.
The film’s synopsis describes the film’s plot as “A look at a young woman’s rapid descent into insanity”, and is set to star Hollywood actress Chloe Grace Moretz as the film’s protagonist alongside Carrie-Anne Moss, Richard Armitage, Thomas Mann and Tyler Perry.
The film is currently in post-production and is yet to announce a release date, but we can expect to see this hit our screens at some stage this year.
Methinks a particular dictator must have become aware of a certain actor when he visited Moscow(above) for a Spooks episode. Apparently the former then watched Captain America, and this past  summer was inspired by RA's Heinz Kruger to restage the hydra submarine scene;) See photos and news article below.

Richard Armitage:April TV Showers + New Role--Serial Killer in Hannibal(see link) + Revists to Dibley(see Vicar news) & Milton(because we all miss JT)

In April the skies will open and much anticipated new plus returning TV series will tumble out.  Apr 4, Outlander; Apr 5 new series Wolf Hall and Apr 12, Game of Thrones new season begins. Here's a taste of Wolf Hall:
New role in Hannibal Series: Francis Dolarhyde(aka The Tooth Fairy:) really??
"hulking Dolarhyde is a serial killer with a penchant for slaughtering entire households."  Good to know he'll play a monk before or after -- helps to soften the macabre...eeeeek!! Doubtful I'll be reading the book.  News headlines are horrifying enough for me.

The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies truly is Richard Armitage’s film. In the book, Thorin’s madness and fall from grace make for a tragic conclusion to the story. In this film Thorin likewise goes through that huge personal – and destructive – journey. From a king consumed by dragon sickness, to his rallying of the dwarves at the gates of Erebor and his final battle with Azog, this is the film that proves why Armitage was chosen for the role.
If Bard is the Aragron of this film, then Thorin is Boromir – a man consumed by the duty and power who tries to do the right thing and ultimately falls. His scenes with Bilbo and Dwalin convey the madness the mountain has on him, but Armitage delivers it in a way that makes you feel sympathy for him despite the foolish decision he makes. His final scene, dying before Bilbo, humbly begging for forgiveness, is beautifully acted and brings the relationship full circle.
Before this film, none of the dwarves had yet matched the wonder of John Rhys-Davies’s Gimli, but in The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies, Richard Armitage took the crown.http://whatculture.com/film/the-hobbit-the-battle-of-the-five-armies-10-reasons-its-a-great-adaptation.php/6

Richard Armitage: New Interview Quote "have done a cameo".."you'll know" - Is it Luscious Lucas North in Spooks Movie?

Amused by one reviewer's remark that "this is Hollywood, therefore some cast members are more attractive than people we see everyday."  haha Can't imagine who s/he? might have been referring to;)

The Hobbit:Battle of Five Armies listed in latest EW with Dec movies:
Photos and a new recipe for sidedish called "Carolina Caviar" - made with blackeyed peas. Memories of a great week on NC coast. Following pic taken on the waterfront at Beaufort, NC.
Learned the prolific writer Nicholas Sparks has at least 2 novels published that were located in this charming coastal town.  I've just started "The Choice" primarily hunting for mentions of the many places we've haunted in that area for past few years. The word "haunted" comes to mind because, besides the beautiful waterfront and historic homes, Beaufort's centuries-old "Burying Grounds" lure tourists to walk through and view stones from the 1700s including a British soldier's.  He died there during the American Revolution. Here's the condo view:

Richard Armitage:Into The Storm Reviews + Mustang Yearnings + Gary,Into The Storm + John Proctor in The Crucible + Thorin in The Hobbit:Battle of the 5 Armies

Above and below - Gary Fuller, Into The Storm. An exciting thrill ride of a film!
Filming of  Into The Storm
ah shucks, mam...
REVIEW:
Maybe someday, in the distant future, the special effects technology in "Into the Storm" will look fake and make audiences snicker. But today, it's hard to imagine any movie ever topping this one's depiction of killer tornadoes laying waste to the Midwest.Short of sweeping the entire audience up into a holographic tornado, while high winds blow the other spectators around, nothing will lay a glove on "Into the Storm" as the ultimate weather disaster extravaganza.Perhaps the best measure of the story's effectiveness is that, given the choice between heightened spectacle and human life, the audience's emotional impulse is always toward human life. Except in the case of the cameraman who gets sucked into the gasoline vortex - that's just too good to resist - whenever someone is holding on for dear life, we hope they maintain their grip. We believe just enough to make "Into the Storm" more riveting.http://www.sfchronicle.com/movies/article/Movie-review-Into-the-Storm-effects-will-blow-5674627.php?cmpid=twitter-premium&t=49b8e51166ec8502a1
Hold on Gary...
Meanwhile on other side of pond, Proctor's Crucible continues to sell out..
